The apartment is a low density 9 storey building consisting of 72 units 3 bedrooms apartment nested in an enclave of double storey semi-detached houses (Lip Sin Garden) in Penang Island.
The following are steps taken by Sri Nipah Residential Management Committees:
1) Current repainting works in progress on the apartment shall be using EM formulated wheather bonds paint only.
2) The Management Committees has decided to adopt EM and instructed the management company GE Tan Realty to use EM activated solution for cleaning of all the apartment common areas, toilets in replacement of chemical detergent and garden in replacement of chemical fertilizer and pesticides.
3) The Sri Nipah Residential Management Committees will organise EM awareness and educational talks to the residents from time to time and hopefully the whole block will eliminate or reduce chemical detergent.
4) Upon completion of the building painting, the committee will invite YB Phee Boon Poh (Penang State Minister for Environment) to inaugurate the launching of converting a conventional building into Eco-Friendly & Environmental beneficial building using EM technology – First in Malaysia.
The Sri Nipah Residential Management Committees express their sincere thanks to Mr. Soo Lee Choo, the chief consultant from EM AdminS and Mr. Tetsuya Sawada for their kind assistance and advice.

A group of PAC members have recently attended several talks & practical sessions with Pak Soo of EM Admins on the topic of EM Technology. PAC is lending its support in a Penang state-wide initiative by EM Admins to bring back the shine to our beloved island. To be successful, this project must be embraced by all levels of the Community; from the State Government right down to the everyday Rakyat. To create awareness with the public, PAC is participating in the below event and we hope this will be a a loud proof-of-concept which will open the eyes of Penangites and beyond.
With this we hope PAC members & guests can enlightened themselves with the knowledge of EM Technology (which is commonly confused with Garbage Enzyme Composting) and help spread this knowledge to all your friends and families and embrace EM Technology as a way of life.
“ONE MILLION APOLOGIES TO MOTHER EARTH” -- AN ENVIRONMENT BIOMEDIATION PROJECT & AWARENESS CAMPAIGN -- 8TH AUGUST 2009.
This idea was initiated by MR Soo Lee Choo (Pak Soo) of EM Admins to organise an event of making One Million EM mud balls and throwing them into various heavily polluted rivers in Penang in a single day. Japan had used EM Technology to clean up more than one hundred heavily polluted rivers over the last 20 years. EM is a proven technology in environmental remediation and all the rivers that have been treated with EM in Japan have also managed to resuscitate aquatic life, bringing back all fishes and other water life forms and aquatic plants. The most famous project in Japan is the cleaning up of the Seto Inland Sea.
PAC has pledged to make 50,000 or more mudballs and we invite PAC Members and guests to join us in this endeavor. Do keep a lookout for the next mudball making session through July ‘09.
Below are some videos explaining and demonstrating the technology.
